The five criteria
Library (0-10). How much there is to watch and whether we could count it. A big library a visitor can verify scores highest; one hidden behind a login scores lower until we count it.
Free content (0-10). How much you can watch or use before paying, per series and overall, and whether a card or account is needed.
Price and transparency (0-10). Whether prices are published before signup, and what an episode or minute costs in dollars.
Features (0-10). Chat, images, generated video, live or interactive formats, real-performer content.
Trust (0-10). A named company, published terms and content rules, an age check, discreet billing.
The score is the average of the five, to one decimal. Ties keep the order of our main ranking.
Where the numbers come from
Candy AI: our own count of its whole catalogue on 16 October 2026, every open series opened, episode lengths read from the video files. Other apps: their public pages, FAQs, pricing pages, terms and company details, checked on 16 October 2026 as a logged-out visitor. Where a section needs a login or an age check that accepts terms, we say so and score what we could see.
