What OurDream is
OurDream calls itself the biggest AI roleplay platform, and the numbers it publishes back the claim: more than ten million users and some seven million characters made by them, plus a Discord with thousands of daily members. You can chat with anyone in that pool or build your own companion, realistic or anime, choosing looks, personality and voice.
Around the chat sits a whole studio: image and video generation (NSFW included), voice calls, comics with a comic studio, games and a social feed. If you like to make things rather than only watch, nothing else in this comparison is as complete.
Video on OurDream
Video comes three ways. Generation: ask your companion for a clip and it is made on request, paid from the plan's dreamcoins. The free gallery: a public page of AI-generated videos sorted by category, realistic, anime and hentai among them. Packs: bundles of clips made and sold by other users for about 200 to 2,000 dreamcoins, some of them full stories told across many connected clips.
Packs are a marketplace, so quality and themes vary and the list changes daily. Some titles on the public list are ones we would not link to, which is why we point to OurDream itself and never to individual packs.

Prices
OurDream publishes two plans: $9.99 a month on the yearly plan, billed $119.88 up front, or $19.99 month to month. Both include unlimited messages, image and video generation and 1,000 dreamcoins a month; the yearly plan adds a one-time bonus of 1,000 dreamcoins. OurDream's own argument is that the bundled allowance makes it cheaper than rivals that charge for top-ups, which holds if you generate a lot.
Safety and privacy
An age check greets every visitor. OurDream's rules ban content with minors, including characters that look underage, and deepfakes or lookalikes of real people, celebrities included; moderation systems watch for both. It says chats are end-to-end encrypted. The company is Dream Studio USA, Inc.
Who it suits
Builders, roleplayers and anyone who wants many tools under one plan. Less suited to people who just want to binge plotted episodes: that is Candy's ground.

Is OurDream better than Candy AI?

Does OurDream allow lookalikes of real people?
No. Its rules forbid deepfakes and lookalikes of real people, famous or not, and any character that appears underage.
